Our YouGov Shopper Intelligence team is expanding rapidly in the Nordics. For this exciting journey, we’re teaming up with Heco et al, who developed an app called Optius to passively collect purchase data to understand buying behaviour. Based on this data, YouGov is creating a nationally representative shopper panel to provide insights on the FMCG and retail industry in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

 

Therefore we are looking for a proactive and motivated Data Entry & Administrative Assistant, who is ready to make this next step a reality together with us. The Data Entry & Administrative Assistant supports in setting up a database that covers the Norwegian, Danish or Swedish FMCG market and map out the Nordic retail landscape by classifying or coding products in different product groups, taking into account relevant features.

You Will:

  • Support database set up that covers the Norwegian, Danish or Swedish FMCG market
  • Classify and code/categorise products in different product groups, taking into account relevant features.
  • continuously maintain, update and adjust classification of our product database.
  • Enhance the database and coding quality to ameliorate recognition and classification of the FMCG data.
  • Collaborate closely together with a dedicated and dynamic team for this new initiative, but will be part of a broader team of data management colleagues locally and internationally. 

You Have:

  • A secondary school or bachelor’s degree, preferably in an administrative, business or marketing related field; a first professional experience is a plus.
  • An analytical approach, yet you are fond of looking for creative and innovative solutions.
  • A keen eye for detail in data handling and working with large datasheets, both numeric and character.
  • Interest or passion for FMCG or retail topics and you have a clear interest in the Norwegian market.
  • Comprehensive Excel and clear communication skills
  • Native Norwegian, Danish or Swedish language skills
  • Good English language skills
  • Self-driven with a can-do mentality that not only relies on the team but also yourself to overcome the challenges along the way.
