The role
The People Operations Manager is a critical member of the People (HR) team, responsible for executing the People strategy in alignment with organizational objectives. Reporting to the Director People Operations, this role collaborates closely with leadership, senior managers, and employees to provide tactical HR support. This role will be responsible for regional benefits administration, managing onboarding and offboarding to ensure smooth transitions, overseeing payroll, and serve as a compliance partner to uphold labor laws and company policies. This role requires a proactive, data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. This position is key to ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining operational and regulatory excellence.
Main responsibilities

Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Support payroll processes and resolve region-specific inquiries.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Identify process automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding for a seamless new hire experience.
- Manage offboarding, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
- Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Workplace teams for operational efficiency.
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct compliance audits and provide guidance on policy interpretation.
HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
- Collaborate with COEs in compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition.
- Analyze HR metrics to drive proactive workforce solutions.
- Support additional People Team initiatives as needed.
Qualifications and experience
- 6+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a fast-paced global organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR within the Americas region, with strong knowledge of benefits administration, local labor laws.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven approach.
