The role

As HSE Director for the Americas region, you will support our team in data center delivery. This includes working cross-functionally with partners in Development, Design and construction, and Operations and with external stakeholders to develop and implement processes that support HSE excellence in all Yondr Americas activities. You will be required to travel frequently throughout the region to our construction and operational facilities and occasionally travel internationally.  

Main responsibilities

  • Support the development of Global HSE expectations for Construction and Operations and partner with our supply chain to meet those expectations. 
  • Manage and develop a team of site and HSE managers to support the development and operations of our facilities. 
  • Provide leadership support and a point of escalation for all HSE Matters in the Region. 
  • Act as a point of escalation and support investigations of incidents that occur to ensure learning and improvement. 
  • Provide accountability to our regional leadership through regular assurance, advice and reporting. 

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least ten years experience in managing health, safety, and environment in industry. 
  • Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent. 
  • Knowledge of HOP / Safety-II practices and their application in everyday work.  
  • Knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements, such as OSHA. 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and in identifying and meeting customer needs. 
  • Experience managing direct reports across a diverse region.
