About the Role
The Senior HR Business Analyst & Project Manager combines deep HR data expertise with end-to-end project management. The role is responsible for architecting and analyzing workforce data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic organizational outcomes, while also leading HR-related projects from initiation through delivery. The role identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline core HR processes. In parallel, the role will plan, coordinate, and drive cross-functional HR initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for the HR function
- Integrate data from HR and ATS systems, and other internal sources to create a consistent view of workforce, hiring pipeline, retention, compensation, and productivity.
- Analyse trends in hiring efficiency, time-to-fill, funnel conversion, attrition, performance, and workforce composition.
- Communicate with the BI/AI and Data Engineering team to define data requirements, and ensure timely availability of necessary datasets.
- Identify structural issues in the HR operating model and propose improvements.
- Support workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and budgeting.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition leads to frame questions, challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into actionable analytics.
- Own data quality processes and drive consistency in definitions, metrics, and reporting standards across regions.
- Support the design and roll-out of new HR processes, tools, and systems.
- Lead and manage HR projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, resource coordination, risk management, and delivery across Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations workstreams.
- Define and maintain project roadmaps, timelines for all active HR initiatives; proactively surface and resolve blockers.
- Engage and align stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance, and business units throughout the project lifecycle; facilitate steering committees and working group sessions as needed.
- Drive change management activities associated with HR project delivery, including communication planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking.
- Use data and analytics to monitor project outcomes and post-implementation impact; report progress and results to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of combined experience in HR analytics, business analysis, project management, or workforce planning, preferably in a fast-growth or multi-jurisdiction environment.
- Strong analytical and data modelling skills.
- Experience setting up HR metrics frameworks or operating models.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL and Python or advanced data automation workflows.
- Hands-on experience with BambooHR and Greenhouse or similar HRIS/ATS platforms.
- Solid understanding of HR and TA operations, including hiring funnels, performance cycles, compensation, workforce planning, and compliance basics.
- Ability to convert ambiguous HR problems into structured analytical work.
- Strong communication skills. Able to challenge, explain insights clearly, and influence decisions.
- Demonstrated experience managing HR or People-related projects with cross-functional stakeholders, including scoping, planning, and delivery oversight.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification will be an advantage.
