We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Researchers to join our team, focusing on developing and implementing data-driven models and analytical frameworks across various platforms and financial instruments in the crypto space. The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, crypto (DEFI), strong statistical and programming skills, and a passion for data-driven research.

We are based in Europe, but ideal candidates may be located in other time zones (Asia or the Americas)  to support our 24/7 coverage of markets.

Languages - English is a must, Russian is a bonus. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Explore, clean, and prepare large financial datasets.
  • Implement and rigorously test components of existing or new quotative models and execution strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of research tools and infrastructure improvements.
  • Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to support research findings.
  • Research DEFI protocols by recreating their underlying models to assess performance, risks, hedging strategies and suitability within broader portfolios.
  • Monitor performance of implemented models or strategies, conduct attribution analysis, and propose improvements or adjustments.
  • Stay abreast of academic literature, industry trends, and new technologies in quantitative finance and crypto data science.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data analysis libraries (NumPy, pandas).
  • Solid foundational knowledge of probability, statistics, and linear algebra.
  • Demonstrated passion for financial markets and an eagerness to learn about automated trading and cryptocurrency markets.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DEFI) is a significant advantage.
