About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Monitoring Operator to join our team.

Reporting Line - Monitoring Lead

Worksite: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Providing monitoring and detection of problems and faults in Exante's products and services
• Prompt incident response and escalation
• Coordinating work/processes of the monitoring operators team, shift planning
• Hiring, onboarding, and developing team members
• Optimising and automating team processes
• Collaborating with related teams to improve processes and communication
• Preparing/automating reports
• Participation in the incident management process (assigning and coordinating personnel responsible for resolving major incidents, informing and providing updates to stakeholders)
• Participation in сompiling major incident reports
• Configuring and automating monitoring
• Documenting and maintaining the team's knowledge base up to date

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Be familiar with basic networking concepts
• Experience in monitoring/alarming (Zabbix, Grafana)
• Confident knowledge of Russian and a good level of English
• Ability to react quickly in case of an emergency
• Careful and responsible person

Would be a plus:

• Advanced monitoring expertise (concepts/processes/tools)
• Knowledge of scripting languages: bash/sh, Python
• Data analysis skills
• Experience in writing SQL queries
• Successful experience using AI tools for work tasks
