Senior/Lead Product Manager
As a Senior/Lead Product Manager, you are responsible for shaping and leading client engagements. By building strong professional relationships, you gain their trust and guide them toward a valuable customer-focused outcome. Working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership, our internal design and engineering teams and our clients, you lead on defining and delivering product solutions, from early-stage research and market analysis through to development, delivery and iteration.
Applying your understanding of product management methodologies and a consistent application of good practice, you lead by example to the rest of the product department, and ensure that we follow and embed best practice approaches within CreateFutures product management team.
You may also responsible for the well-being of one or more product managers. You will help them with their development by coaching them in client management techniques and supporting their application of product management. Equally, you will guide and encourage as they make strides in their personal and professional growth goals.
Role Details
● Works on complex client projects; engaging with our CreateFuture clients, working to understand their goals and turning ideas, market insights and evidence into long-term product vision and strategy
● Engages with new and developing technologies, identifying and implementing AI solutions to optimise and improve
● Position of leadership in the product team, potentially line-managing Product Managers, ensuring all well-being and performance is supported with the assistance of your People Partner
● Helps embed and support career progression within your team, providing support through mentorship and coaching
● Acts as an escalation point for the team, helping to remove internal and external blockers as needed
● Leads clients through the partnership; long-term lasting relationships are made with key decision-makers to support ongoing value delivery
● Works with the team to improve, shape and structure the Product Management ways of working
● Acts as a calming and stabilising influence on projects and fosters a healthy dynamic within their team
● Seen as an expert in your field, you use your expertise to mentor others, develop training plans, and identify external training or conferences that benefit the product and team.
● Builds and maintains strong senior and c-level relationships with key stakeholders, both within CreateFuture, and with our clients
● Defines and monitors the metrics which drive the success of the product and guide feature development
● Creates a psychologically safe environment for the team, that enables them to perform to their potential and grow at CreateFuture
● Champions our values and culture, being a role model for these and supporting the continual embedding of them in everything we do
● Any other ad hoc related duties & projects as required
