About the role and team:

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in leading design strategy and execution across client projects. You’ll take ownership of product design delivery, guiding teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations and timelines.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and with client stakeholders, applying your expertise in the Product Design Toolkit and user-centred design to deliver impactful solutions. Alongside design leadership, you’ll support and mentor more junior designers, helping them grow their skills and careers.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by doing designing, facilitating, influencing, and championing best practices across CreateFuture and beyond.



What you'll be doing:

  • Lead client Product Design projects with autonomy and confidence.
  • Mentor and manage junior designers, supporting their development.
  • Build strong client relationships, influencing at both craft and strategic levels.
  • Facilitate workshops and drive key conversations with stakeholders.
  • Lead problem-solving and design decision-making across complex projects.
  • Advocate for user-centric design, including conducting user research when required.
  • Apply strong design principles and lead design thinking practices.
  • Build effective partnerships with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Share knowledge, champion best practices, and represent CreateFuture externally.
  • Support a culture of feedback and psychological safety within your team.
  • Role model CreateFuture’s values and help embed them across the business.

 

We'd love to talk to you if:

  • Significant experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio of client work.
  • Proven ability to lead design on projects with minimal guidance.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design and research practices.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stream design work with confidence.
  • Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills.
