The Cleaner/General Assistant ensure that the X, bigly labs environment remains clean, safe and well maintained at all times.  This role plays a key part in creating a hygienic and orderly workspace by performing daily cleaning duties and providing general operational support to facilitate the smooth running of activities across the premises.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum NQF4
• Previous experience in a cleaning or general assistant role preferred
• Basic understanding of health and safety requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

• Perform daily cleaning of offices, meetings rooms, kitchens and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize all designated areas
• Support office admin, including moving equipment, organising storage areas and assisting with deliveries
• Provide ad-hoc assistance to team members with general operational requirements
• Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene standards within the workplace

WHO YOU ARE?

• Understanding of cleaning processes, hygiene protocols and safe use of cleaning materials and equipment
• Ability to identify maintenance issues, or improvement on areas proactively
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions accurately
• Dependable, punctual and takes ownership of assigned duties
