The Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making across the organisation. This role combines advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data storytelling to bridge the gap between data and business. The incumbent is responsible for delivering high-impact insights, building scalable reporting solutions, and enabling a data-driven culture across the organisation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related roles
• Advanced SQL and strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Proven experience working with large, complex datasets and delivering actionable insights
• Strong experience in dashboard development and reporting frameworks
• Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data lakes) and cloud platforms (like Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Advantageous

• Postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Programming experience in Python or R
• Exposure to SAP environments (e.g., SAP BW/4HANA)
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their business application
• Industry experience (e.g., retail, healthcare, financial services)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

• Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems
• Apply statistical methods and advanced analytics techniques to solve business problems
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and measurable metrics
• Identify and implement improvements in analytics, reporting, and BI processes

• Advanced SQL and strong experience with BI tools
• Have a strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Have a strong business acumen and understanding of operational processes
• Able to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences
• Take ownership of end-to-end analytics delivery
