The AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that enhance business operations, customer experience, and decision-making capabilities. This role involves working with machine learning models, natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI technologies to solve complex problems and drive innovation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

Essential: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML systems, particularly in model integration and contextualisation.
• Hands-on experience with prebuilt AI/ML models and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, AWS SageMaker).
• Experience in deploying and maintaining AI solutions in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of data pipelines and model lifecycle management. 

Advantageous:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, retail, or insurance data ecosystems 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

• Identify suitable AI models by analysing business requirements and available technologies to accelerate solution delivery and reduce development overhead.
• Maintain model lifecycle by applying version control and update strategies to ensure continuity and traceability of AI implementations.
• Support AI adoption by providing training, demos, and technical assistance to increase usage and maximize business impact.
• Comply with data regulations by aligning AI implementations with legal and organisational policies to reduce risk and maintain accountability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies by conducting feasibility assessments to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in AI capabilities

• Interpret the functionality, limitations, and intended use of prebuilt AI models to ensure appropriate application in business contexts.
• Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate AI into broader systems and workflows.
• Analyse business problems and determine how AI models can be adapted or configured to deliver meaningful insights or automation.
• Adjust quickly to evolving business needs, technical environments, and model updates to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
• Demonstrates the ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence and composure.
