The Reputation and Storytelling Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation of the brand strategy to build strong brand equity, drive growth, and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints. The role ensures the brand resonates with target audiences, supports business objectives, and reflects X, bigly labs’ culture, values, and market positioning. It relies on data-driven insights and research to guide strategic decisions, identify opportunities, and optimise brand performance.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Brand Management or related discipline.
  • +5 years’ experience in brand management, digital marketing, advertising or public relations.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing brand strategies, marketing campaigns and delivering measurable brand growth.
  • Experience working across multiple channels (digital/social/trade/production) and collaborating with internal senior stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Excellent facilitation project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, strategic mindset, and excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the South African market, consumer behaviour and brand dynamics is preferred.
  • Budget management experience and ability to manage supplier/agency relationships.

  • Connecting short-term marketing activities to long-term brand and business goals.
  • Deep awareness of market dynamics, competitors, and consumer behaviour.
  • Crafting compelling narratives that connect emotionally with audiences and land X, bigly labs culture, values and employee value proposition.
  • Working effectively across departments (tribes, chapters and service units) and with external partners.
