ABOUT THE ROLE

Most QA roles are about ticking checkboxes.

This one isn’t.

At Wunderflats, quality is the backbone of trust for thousands of people who rely on our platform to find a home. From searching and booking apartments to managing listings and payments, our product supports real-life decisions every day.

As a QA Analyst, you’ll help ensure that we ship reliably, confidently, and with the user in mind.

THE ROLE & YOUR IMPACT

As Wunderflats continues to grow, so does the complexity of our product. To scale sustainably, quality needs to be embedded in how we build. not added at the end.

In this role, you’ll be a key quality partner within a cross-functional product team. You’ll own manual testing for complex flows, contribute to our Cypress automation, and help teams identify risks early so we can release with confidence.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Testing new features and improvements across our web applications

  • Owning manual test execution for complex user journeys and edge cases

  • Designing and running structured regression cycles ahead of releases

  • Reviewing acceptance criteria and clarifying requirements early

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs with clear reproduction steps

  • Contributing to and maintaining automated tests in Cypress

  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers, engineers, and designers

Current focus:
~70% manual QA, ~20% automation (Cypress), ~10% planning & alignment
Automation responsibility will grow over time.

WHO YOU ARE

You care about quality — and about why it matters.

You bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual QA, including structured test execution and regression testing

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with Cypress, creating and maintaining basic automated tests

  • Solid understanding of web application behavior and testing flows

  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs and request/response validation

  • Clear, structured communication and a proactive mindset

  • Comfort working in cross-functional Agile teams

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience with GitHub or CI/CD pipelines

  • ISTQB certification

  • Experience using AI tools to support testing or code review
