We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager for the DACH region to own both tenant and landlord acquisition across our paid channels. This is a highly operational, hands-on role, with Google Ads as your primary responsibility. Beyond campaign execution, we are looking for someone who is meticulous in tracking and documentation and deeply curious about performance behavior. You go deep into the data, analyze auction insights, inspect query-level trends, validate tracking, and uncover the actual root cause.

YOUR MISSION

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Own performance across tenant and landlord acquisition in the DACH markets.
  • Manage budgets and pacing daily, ensuring efficiency and quick responses to shifts.
  • Optimize campaigns across Search, PMax, Display, and retargeting and other Performance Marketing Channels.
  • Continuously refine targeting, audiences, creatives, bidding strategies.

Deep Tracking, Measurement & Analysis

  • Maintain exceptionally high tracking hygiene across platforms, analytics tools, and backend data
  • Investigate performance anomalies with a scientific mindset:.
    • Query-level and auction insights analysis
    • Competitor intensity and seasonality
    • Attribution validation
    • Cross-platform data comparisonsInvestigate performance anomalies with a scientific mindset:
    • Build a full-funnel understanding of user behavior and conversion quality.

Experimentation & Documentation

  • Run structured, hypothesis-driven tests aligned with the team strategy. We are looking for someone who is excited about structured experiments - pragmatic, not perfectionist and even when the tracking or tooling isn’t perfect. 
  • Document every experiment clearly: setup, assumptions, data sources, learnings, and next steps.
  • Share insights proactively to help the team scale.

Reporting & Collaboration 

  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance overviews and deep dives.
  • Translate data into actionable decisions and clear recommendations.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, ideally in a scale-up environment. 
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads—Search & PMax especially.
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to combine platform data, analytics, and backend data.
  • A detail-obsessed, methodical working style — you spot anomalies others miss.
  • Proven ability to identify the real reason behind performance changes.
  • Excellent documentation habits and clarity in written communication.
  • A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to “get into the nitty-gritty.
  • Experience with Paid Social is a plus.
  • Fluent German and English (required).
