About the Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Team Lead at Workwize, you’ll play a dual role: driving your own business development efforts while coaching and mentoring a team of BDRs. You’ll be hands-on in conducting outreach, qualifying leads, and leading discovery calls, while also providing guidance and support to your team members as they navigate their own client engagements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the tactical aspects of sales development and the rewarding experience of coaching others to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and Team Development:
- Lead a team of BDRs, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where team members can develop their skills and confidence.
- Lead by example, sharing best practices and techniques that enhance team performance.
- Strategic Outreach and Lead Generation:
- Conduct strategic outbound outreach via calling, emailing, LinkedIn, and other activities to identify potential clients and generate leads.
- A/B testing with new channels and methods to optimize outreach efforts, and automate successful approaches to increase efficiency.
- Discover challenges and impact with prospects:
- Create prospecting lists, ensuring alignment with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and understanding their pain points.
- Identify high-potential leads by gauging purchase intent through website behavior, email clicks, and participation in relevant forums, groups, and events.
- Process Optimization and Insightful Communication:
- Set up tests to explore new outreach channels and messaging strategies.
- Analyze outcomes of tests and implement successful processes across the team.
- Provide valuable insights and inputs to enhance outreach strategies and ensure effective communication with potential clients.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a BDR, with demonstrated success in lead generation and qualification.
- Team lead: 1+ experience as a team leader, mentorship or/& coaching role, with a passion for helping others develop and succeed.
- Experience in a fast-paced working facing scalability in a B2B commercial role in SaaS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Proactive Sales Approach: Comfortable with prospecting, cold outreach, and building relationships from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
Tools and Technologies:
- CRM Systems: Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems for managing client relationships and sales pipelines.
- Sales & Engagement Platforms: Familiarity with modern, prospecting, data enrichment and outreach tools.
