Editorial & Content Marketing Intern

Hours: 15-20 hours per week

As the Editorial & Content Marketing Intern at Worksome, you will help drive the voice of the brand across digital touchpoints. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing our editorial operations, from maintaining the content calendar and pitching story ideas to drafting and publishing content on our website. You’ll also play a key role in bringing content to market through thoughtful distribution across channels

What You’ll Do

  • Editorial Planning & Task Management

    • Own and manage the editorial calendar using tools like Asana or Notion, ensuring deadlines, themes, and campaign timelines are met.
    • Track and prioritize writing, editing, and publishing tasks in collaboration with the broader marketing team.

  • Content Creation & Development

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to pitch content ideas that support marketing and business objectives.
    • Draft initial blog posts, campaign copy, and email content — with opportunities to contribute to press releases and editorial features.

  • Publishing & Website Management

    • Publish and optimize written content using Webflow or similar CMS platforms.
    • Support formatting and layout for readability, SEO, and on-brand presentation.

  • Distribution & Promotion

    • Execute distribution plans across key channels including LinkedIn, newsletters, content syndication platforms, and partner networks.
    • Monitor engagement metrics and support reporting on content performance.
About you
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with task and calendar management tools like Asana, Notion, or similar.
  • Interest in editorial strategy, content marketing, and digital publishing.
  • Comfortable exploring and using AI tools to support drafting, editing, and ideation processes.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (Webflow experience is a plus).
  • Understanding of social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and digital distribution tactics.
  • Organized, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple content tracks at once.
  • Based in the US
    Previous internship or experience in editorial, marketing, or communications is a plus.
