We’re seeking a Presales Consultant in our New York office who will play a critical and creative role in the sales process. This person will not just repeat demos but bring fresh strategic thinking to every client interaction. This person will translate enterprise complexity into elegant, tailored solutions and help prospects envision a better way forward with Worksome.

About the Role

Understanding Client Needs

  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover enterprise pain points in contractor classification, compliance, onboarding, and payments.
  • Map these challenges to Worksome’s capabilities and workflow design, particularly in complex stakeholder environments (HR, Legal, Procurement).
  • Operate as a consultative partner, bringing clarity, not repetition, to every interaction.
  • Elevate each client conversation with insight and relevance, not rinse-and-repeat content.

Solution Development & Positioning

  • Design tailored solutions and demo scenarios that clearly illustrate how Worksome solves real-world challenges in contingent workforce management.
  • Translate feature sets into business outcomes and strategic value.

Demonstrations & Value Communication

  • Deliver compelling, tailored platform demonstrations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Present ROI cases, competitive differentiators, and strategic use cases to drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making.

RFI & RFP Management

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of responses to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
  • Maintain and enhance the internal RFP content library with up-to-date platform capabilities, security posture, and feature releases.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure accuracy and consistency across technical responses.

Collaboration Across Teams

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Implementation, and Customer Success to ensure continuity from evaluation through onboarding.
  • Act as a feedback loop to product and engineering, sharing real-time input from client prospects and demo sessions.

Marketing & Asset Development

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and refine prospect-facing content, including solution briefs, case studies, and demo collateral.
  • Provide strategic input into campaign messaging based on insights from presales conversations and buyer objections.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Stay informed on trends in the freelance economy, IC compliance, workforce management, and enterprise procurement.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Worksome’s platform functionality, integrations (e.g., VMS, HCM, ERP), and roadmap.

Client Relationship Development

  • Establish credibility with enterprise buyers and influencers across HR, talent acquisition, finance, and legal.
  • Support early implementation phases with process advisory and best-practice recommendations.

About you

  • Domain expertise:  Strong understanding of EOR and AOR providers is essential; familiarity with MSP models and VMS solutions is preferred.
  • Experience in Contingent Workforce / HR Tech: Strong background in workforce transformation, IC compliance, or related SaaS solutions.
    Communication & Presentation: Outstanding verbal and written skills with experience presenting to C-level/Sr. executives and large stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical & Consultative Thinking: Ability to dissect complex business challenges and map them to software solutions.
  • RFP/RFI Management: Prior experience crafting or coordinating RFI/RFP responses for enterprise SaaS products.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable discussing software architecture, integrations, and data flows with technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of cross-functional teamwork with Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Customer Orientation: Passionate about understanding client needs and delivering impactful solutions.
