Founding Moderator - Wonder App

Reports to: Head of Platform
Compensation: $1,000 a month + equity 


The Role
We've recently launched a new mobile app and web platform, a private space designed to help creators connect, find work, and get discovered. We're looking for a Founding Moderator to take the lead in supporting and building this new community.

Working directly with the Head of Platform, you will play a visible leadership role in ensuring a successful public launch and cultivating an engaged community. This is a hands-on, founding role for a self-starter who is ready to shape a community from the ground up by actively curating top-tier talent.


What You'll Do

• Talent Curation & Recruitment: Actively identify and recruit world-leading creatives and technologists to join the platform. Your role is to build a high-quality community and enable top talent to flourish.
• Platform Leadership: Serve as the lead voice on the platform, sharing content, links, and stories that inspire and drive engagement. You will be a key representative of Wonder, actively managing the quality of the community and helping drive people to in-person events.
• Content Moderation: Maintain the quality of the community by moderating user-generated content and posts, ensuring all interactions are constructive and adhere to community guidelines.
• Platform Curation: Keep the platform organised by ensuring "Spaces" are named and structured logically, making it easy for members to navigate and find relevant content.
• Content Consolidation: Consolidate the best links, stories, and trends from existing networks and repost them in the Wonder app daily to keep the community informed and engaged.
  
  

Who We're Looking For
You are a creative and proactive individual with a deep understanding of online communities and creator culture. You have a knack for sparking conversation and making people feel included.

• You are a self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously.
• You have a strong understanding of the creative landscape, including filmmaking, animation, and technology.
• You have experience as an active participant or moderator in online communities.
• You have an exceptional eye for detail and can maintain high standards of quality and organisation.
