Our Alpha Capture team sits within the Investment Management & Research division, working closely with quantitative researchers to integrate insights from the programme into our systematic investment strategies.

We are looking for someone to help drive the expansion of our Equity Alpha Capture programme in China. In this role, you’ll join a small team of relationship managers and researchers with the responsibility for managing and building relationships in the region. You’ll play a key role in the continued success and evolution of our global Alpha Capture programme.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage relationships with our sell-side partners, both at the individual contributor and institutional level.
  • Identify new opportunities for the Alpha Capture programme across signals, partnerships, and technology.
  • Collaborate with Winton’s quantitative investment team to support the global growth of the Alpha Capture initiative.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role at the Associate or VP level within financial markets, such as Alpha Capture or Equity Sales
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships with counterparties at financial institutions.
  • High levels of motivation, work ethic and perseverance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
