We are a remote-first technology company and welcome applications from candidates across Europe, including the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and other non-EEA European countries such as Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Montenegro, Turkey, and the Western Balkans. We also consider applicants from different locations who can work within Central European Time (CET).

Your role and impact:

As an Head of PMO at WhiteTech, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our FinTech projects through exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and continuous improvement. You will lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, project managers, QA professionals, and security experts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your deep expertise in software development life cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and security will enable you to optimize and streamline processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited:

  • Oversee process documentation, implementation, and continuous optimization
  • Lead change management initiatives and ensure process quality assurance
  • Manage and improve SDLC efficiency, quality, and performance
  • Ensure client satisfaction across cost, budget, timelines, and quality metrics
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for clients concerning roadmaps, release schedules, delivery issues, delays, and budget concerns
  • Supervise business analysis and design functions, ensuring measurable effectiveness
  • Take full ownership of the Service Desk function: Improve client satisfaction, Reduce bug resolution time, Enhance issue response quality, Implement efficient root cause analysis and resolution processes
  • Oversee internal SaaS/white-label product development with full responsibility for quality and budget control
  • Lead resource management and capacity planning across all IT functions
  • Ensure effective onboarding, performance tracking, and upskilling across engineering and delivery teams
  • Manage the full lifecycle of project management talent: hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and replacement
  • Drive cost-effective, timely, and high-quality delivery across all functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ensure development team composition aligns with skill and seniority requirements
  • Promote a performance-based, results-driven culture across all delivery units
  • Partner with security leadership to ensure compliance with standards without disrupting delivery timelines
  • Manage and support the Head of QA, ensuring a high standard of test coverage, speed, and efficiency

Strategic Initiatives & Key Challenges

  • Redesign and streamline onboarding processes
  • Enhance design and business analysis functions for speed, cost-efficiency, and output quality
  • Implement a high-performance, results-oriented development culture
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of project management processes with the goal of identifying gaps and implementing improvements
  • Review and optimize the development team structure and resource allocation
  • Audit and enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Perform cost and performance analytics for development and operations
  • Improve Service Desk operations, especially in bug root cause identification and resolution speed
  • Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the Security function

What makes you stand out:

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years as a Senior Project Manager (mandatory)
  • At least 3+ years of proven experience as a Lead Delivery or Program Manager
  • A combined 5+ years in leadership roles such as Head of PMO, Head of Project Management, or Head of Delivery (all mandatory)

Industry Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in product companies focused on SaaS or white-label software solutions (mandatory)
  • Deep understanding of enterprise platforms within FinTech and banking domains (mandatory); experience in iGaming and eCommerce is considered a plus
  • Minimum 5 years in outsourcing environments within the same technical and business domains
  • Hands-on experience with mobile applications, especially those related to financial services (mandatory)
