Your role and impact:
As a Quality Assurance Lead at WhiteTech you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Your efforts in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to push the boundaries of what's possible in the fintech industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support two QA teams, each consisting of four engineers, while actively participating in hands-on testing efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee and execute functional, regression, UI/UX, integration, and requirements testing for online payment systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with development, design, and product management teams to align efforts, maintain quality standards, and drive seamless product delivery.
- Participate in requirements analysis, ensuring clarity and shared understanding among stakeholders while developing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Investigate, reproduce, and document defects in detailed bug reports, working proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Lead hiring efforts, identifying and onboarding top QA talent to strengthen team capabilities.
- Propose enhancements to tested features based on data-driven insights, contributing to product improvement.
- Engage with customers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and execute effective testing strategies, ensuring a user-centric approach to quality assurance.
Requirements & skills:
- 5+ years of experience in QA, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in testing Web/SaaS applications, covering both UI and API testing.
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and client-server architecture.
- Basic proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write fundamental queries.
- Hands-on experience with Postman and browser DevTools for API and web testing.
- Experience with payment systems and payment methods.
- Solid knowledge of test design techniques and their practical application.
- Proven ability to create, manage, and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Strong grasp of SDLC and STLC, ensuring seamless QA integration within development workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Analytical mindset, with a strong ability to work with data, numbers, and calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, product-oriented thinking, and a proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills, with at least an intermediate level of English.
