✎Your Mission
As a Pricing Actuary, your goal will be to provide expertise on large-scale, pan-European tender issues. Reporting to the Head of Pre-Sales within the Product & Pricing Office, you’ll also be involved in the early stages of insurance product development. You'll model algorithms and design pricing approaches to assess and measure the risks of Wakam’s potential new business opportunities.
In support of the Head of Pricing, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading technical studies to respond to tender offers.
- Conducting risk analysis and pricing studies for the development of new property and casualty insurance products (IARD).
- Presenting the results of your analyses to the product director and validation committees for new opportunities.
- Collaborating with commercial teams on revaluation and portfolio adjustments that require special monitoring.
- Assisting the commercial division in client presentations or revaluation actions.
- Providing technical recommendations for product creation and evolution, as well as designing management tools and methods.
✯ Profile
- You have a degree in Actuarial Science (or equivalent) such as a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Studies, and you possess strong skills and interest in modeling and pricing analysis.
- You have experience in non-life insurance pricing (IARD).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SAS is essential, and you enjoy working in a team, especially in a project-driven environment.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and recognized for your curiosity and strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required.

Wakam has an in-house recruitment team, which focuses on sourcing great candidates directly. Wakam does not accept unsolicited resumes from agency or search firm recruiters.
