Junior Dubbing Producer

Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Dubbing Producer to join our growing In-House Production team in London.
If you have a creative mind paired with good technical knowledge of the dubbing process, are able to juggle and prioritise multiple demands, know how to keep track of budgets and are a great communicator, this role could be for you.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Production
- Manage the full dubbing process from quotation to delivery and raise invoices.
- Ensure all projects meet internal and client expectations with respect to quality, budget and delivery timelines.
- Monitor and communicate schedule changes, and highlight any potential issues for all teams and clients involved in the projects, in a timely fashion.
- Continuously monitor and review production processes, suggest and implement improvements that will result in faster turnaround times, decreased costs of production and better client satisfaction.
- Identify, track, manage and mitigate risks of specific client requests. Escalate any issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact on quality, budget and timeline.
- Make sure all materials are available on time, deal with clients if there are any delays and promptly allocate the checking of materials to the right team members in order to flag any potential issues immediately. Get approvals from the client for any changes to the project scope, value and timeline.
- Liaise with the Casting Supervisor to create a studio schedule, estimate recording times and project length, as well as assist with contacting talent and agencies as necessary
- Constantly keep track of the most recent versions of all materials and update the teams accordingly.
- Ensure the creative and technical teams are adhering to the set recording targets.
- Account for time estimations accurately across all production workflows.
- Generate progress reports and budgets on all projects, accurately tracking financial changes throughout production
Client management
- Develop knowledge of each client’s business and objectives, and advise them on how VSI can help grow their existing business.
- Manage day-to-day client expectations.
- Make sure each client’s creative requirements are clearly communicated to the relevant parties, in a timely manner.
- Welcome clients to recording sessions as required.
Project finance
- Prepare accurate quotes. Discuss with other departments and members of the team to make sure all estimates are precise and the margins meet our targets.
- Manage and track project budgets and proactively monitor any areas that may pose a risk to the budget. Escalate cost issues where necessary.
- Ensure full understanding of our pricing and billing procedures, and compliance with VSI’s invoicing workflow.
- Ensure that delivered projects meet the target margins by proactively addressing any areas that may increase costs.
- Prepare client invoices and ensure correct invoicing from contributors (adapters, translators, proofreaders) in order to avoid delays in payment.
Essential Skills and Experience
- High professional level of fluency in written and spoken English
- 1-2 years’ of demonstrable project management experience in the media sector is essential
- Technical and creative understanding of the production process
- Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and work well both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good client and talent relationship skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of Pro Tools and editing, mixing and lip-sync recording softwares and/or scripting/prompting softwares is an advantage

- Dubbing experience is highly desired
