Junior - View from Seats – 3D Design Specialist

We’re looking for a skilled 3D Design Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and editing accurate 3D models of real-world venues and producing high quality rendered images from the point of view of each section at the venue. These renders directly enhance the user experience of our platform, helping customers visualize the view of their seat before purchasing a ticket.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit detailed and accurate bespoke 3D models of venues using Blender
• Set up and manage in program camera views for rendering section-specific images
• Design and implement custom staging and seating layouts for events and concerts under tight deadlines
• Universal 3D asset creation for use across multiple models
• Experiment with new features and workflows to improve output quality and efficiency
• Perform quality checks on rendered images, ensuring they adhere to internal guidelines
• Maintain well-organized file structures for consistency and scalability
• Work with event data to correctly place and label cameras
• Upload finalized images and files to internal databases for use on the live platform
• Additional duties as assigned. 

We would like to see someone that has:

• Proven experience using Blender or similar 3D modelling software (Blender, SketchUp, Unity, Autodesk Maya, etc.)
• Strong understanding of camera composition, lighting, and render optimization
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent time management, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Clear and proactive communication skills
• Comfortable working with large data sets and multiple simultaneous projects

Not Required Desirable:

• Experience in 3D game design, particularly asset optimization for realtime rendering
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript for automation or tool development
• Familiarity with concert or venue design
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Keen interest in events
