
Senior Performance Marketer

We operate in highly complex industries, selling a product with multiple use cases to an expert audience navigating volatile commodity markets. That’s why in this role, messaging is your starting point, not an afterthought.
Success doesn’t come from generic targeting or one-size-fits-all ads. It comes from deeply understanding our customers, their problems, and how Vesper fits into their workflow, and then shaping paid campaigns that speak to them directly.
We’re looking for a Paid Specialist who’s both analytically sharp and creatively driven, someone who gets energy from going deep into the market, testing new ideas, and translating insight into impact.
You’ll own our paid search and paid social channels; building, optimizing, and scaling campaigns that drive high-quality lead generation. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to shape compelling messaging, test and iterate on campaigns, and continuously connect your results to commercial outcomes.
This is not a plug-and-play media buyer role. You won’t be pressing “go” and walking away. You’ll be in the weeds of performance: turning the knobs, analyzing what’s working, and pushing for better results.
You’ll partner with Product Marketing to shape nuanced, relevant messages, but also take ownership of translating those into full-funnel paid campaign strategy. From idea to execution, you’ll be expected to connect industry insight, customer behavior, and performance data into campaigns that resonate, and convert.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Understand the fundamentals of B2B marketing, and get energy from solving hard positioning challenges
- Have hands-on experience managing paid search and paid social (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta, Reddit, etc.)
- Think in hypotheses, run A/B tests regularly, and iterate quickly based on data
- Translate messaging into campaign strategy, working with content and design to build standout ads that reflect our brand and speak to our audience.
- Work closely with sales to ensure alignment between demand generation efforts and pipeline goals
- Know how to identify the best channels and tactics to reach our ICPs
- Understand how paid fits into the broader mix, ensuring campaigns complement our nurturing flows and organic efforts
- Care about the full funnel, not just impressions and clicks, but pipeline and business impact
- Communicate clearly and work well across teams
You'll work closely with:
- The Sales team, to ensure campaigns support pipeline goals and reflect insights from direct customer interactions
- The Product Marketer, to align campaign messaging with customer needs
- The Head of Marketing and Growth Manager, to drive broader demand generation outcomes
- The Growth Marketer, to layer on experimental paid and nurture campaigns once a strong foundation is in place
What you bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search (Google Ads) and paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit) campaigns in a B2B or complex industry
- Ability to translate messaging into effective campaign strategy with strong collaboration across sales, content, and design teams
- Proven track record of driving high-quality lead generation and pipeline growth through paid media
- Strong expertise in A/B testing, optimization, and data analysis for performance improvement
- Experience integrating paid media with nurturing flows and organic marketing efforts
- Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for lead tracking, reporting, and optimizing sales and marketing alignment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with teams
