Growth Marketing Manager

Your role at Vertice:

We operate in an extremely exciting but also competitive segment of the market. And to compete, we must deliver the right messages to the right audiences at the right time. That’s where you come in.

We have a great content team, producing compelling messages and assets in multiple media formats; a rapidly growing performance marketing team, who are putting this content in the right audience’s hands at the right time; a superb field marketing team who are creating reasons to engage with us online and offline; and a smart product marketing team who are helping our prospects and customers see the undeniable benefits of our product over and above the competition - all supported by a diligent, accurate and insightful marketing ops team. 

But we need you to help us make sure we are making the most of every channel, engagement and dollar. 

We need someone to look at each channel in the context of the wider activity and goals, and be able to support each team as required. 

We need an accomplished and experienced B2B marketing generalist, who knows the intricacies and challenges of every channel; who can ensure that each is performing optimally; and that the prospect experience is consistent and effective.  

The successful candidate will have done this before in B2B SaaS, and will be comfortable - and if anything, excited - by this being both a strategic and tactical role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Plan and drive demand generation activity, overseeing it from execution to analysis.
  • Campaigns: Identify new inbound and outbound marketing activities that deliver a flow of qualified leads through offline and online channels, while monitoring ROI and optimizing CAC.
  • Paid Media: Manage and augment our existing paid media campaigns across search and social channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion and working with the wider team to implement. 
  • Content: Support our content team with ideation and creation of content, ranging from longform reports to paid social ad copy.
  • Field Marketing: Support our UK- and US-based field marketing team with the sourcing and delivery of events and media sponsorships.
  • Marketing Ops: Ensure consistent campaign deployment within HubSpot, and the creation of reports
  • Lead Nurturing: Take responsibility for moving leads through the buying decision process swiftly and in volume (working with the content, performance marketing and BDR teams)
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Identify core improvements that could be made to our online customer journey, from responding to an ad all the way to closed won. 
  • Account-Based Marketing: Research and develop effective value propositions and messaging for target accounts and verticals. Create and execute an ABM plan to ensure the delivery of high-value content at the optimal moment in an account’s discovery and sales journey, capturing and nurturing leads.
  • Analysis: Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimisation to meet sales targets.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of strategic and tactical experience in demand generation in B2B SaaS.
  • 3+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally with experience marketing to finance, procurement and tech decision makers.
  • 3+ years of strategic and tactical experience in B2B SaaS paid search and social.
  • Evidence of improving conversion rates on websites, and from brand awareness through to final decision, resulting in evidence of pipeline growth
  • Exceptional analytical, data and data modelling skills, plus the ability to share complex insights with stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience working with HubSpot, creating and managing GA4 reporting, and deploying Google Tag Manager is essential, and experience with LinkedIn and Google paid media platforms is useful.
