About the team

The Growth Marketing team at VEED is a cross-functional team with focus on Revenue Growth. We are a young, ambitious team driven by creativity, innovation, and a passion for growth. Our team champions acquisition at different moments of the user journey –from awareness to conversion. You will work closely with other marketing teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders to drive massive impact for VEED.

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Media Community Manager to help us elevate our online presence and connect with our growing community. Reporting to the Head of Social & Influencer, this role will play a pivotal part in executing our social community strategy and help build a vibrant community. The ideal candidate is passionate about video, and deeply understands social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn), and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Your primary responsibility is to foster and grow a vibrant online community of deeply engaged fans for VEED. You will be responsible for cultivating positive relationships with our audience by leveraging your proven expertise in social marketing and community building. Your day-to-day tasks will include monitoring all conversations on all our owned channels, reacting to conversations and directly engaging with fans, proactively trend mining and looking for opportunistic ways to engage, responding to inquiries, and reporting on the success of our content.

You'll partner with the broader team to feed insights about the community (what they love, hate, think, and feel) and inform creative content and other marketing initiatives, ensuring everything we create and publish resonates with the brand’s fans.

What you will do

  • Actively manage and grow VEED’s online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, on-brand, and professionally.
  • Function as an extension of the brand on social
  • Identify opportunities for creative commenting and viral engagement to insert VEED into cultural conversations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates, and proactively recommend innovative ideas to keep VEED ahead of the curve.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions) to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and insights, using data to optimize your community strategy 
  • Be on the forefront of real-time trends and culturally relevant moments - doing “trend-mining” to find relevant ways to proactively insert the brand/shows into the conversation in a way that will spark conversation
  • Provide sentiment classification to identify audiences’ reception and to accurately report on developments to the company’s stakeholders

About you

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a community manager/social role
  • Experience understanding and using data to inform community-based decisions, including audience insights, cultural trends, and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly
  • Keen eye for detail is a must
  • Experience working across different social media platforms, like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, with LinkedIn experience a bonus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends
  • Ability to be proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools to streamline workflows
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to get things done
  • Experience in a startup environment is beneficial

Location Requirement: At VEED, we are remote, enabling teams and individuals to design their day and integrate work and life. However, this position is open exclusively to candidates based in the Philippines. Applicants must reside in the Philippines to be considered for this role.

Country Hiring Guidelines: We are currently hiring in 3 core hubs: London, Amsterdam and Barcelona and 2 additional hubs for sales and support roles only (USA for sales and the Philippines for support).
