About the Role
As an Associate Product Designer at Securiti Sciences, you will enjoy being part of a proficient, motivated team of Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineers. In this role you’ll get to identify and assess user needs and opportunities, develop concepts, structure interactions, design user interfaces and other touch points. If you don’t already possess the necessary abilities and tools, you can look forward to learning about them through senior members of our design team..
Responsibilities:
- Your primary responsibility will be to work as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers, building large, complex digital products
- Contribute to the product design process
- Find simple solutions to complex user pain points, constantly improving how things work
- Find a fine balance while delivering on business requirements, technical limitations, time constraints and user needs
- Work in all parts of the user experience design process, generalizing when necessary
- Identify and assess product needs and opportunities, develop concepts, structure interactions, design user interfaces and other touch points
Experience & Skills:
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a creative designer or content creator
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Proficiency with designing and prototyping tools e.g. Figma, Adobe XD
- Agency, large consultancy, or product company background a plus
- Building products with data visualization a big plus
- Strong conceptual ability - mindful with the ability to be open to suggestions, incorporating input from others to improve product quality, drive towards completion and attain organizational buy-in.
- Ability to change course/direction on projects at a moment’s notice; ability to reprioritize tasks and timelines
- Ability to work well under pressure and sometimes tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize responsibilities, multi-tasking
- Detail-oriented, with superior communication and organizational skills
- Be enthusiastic about being an ambassador for the company’s vision through informational storytelling within our product
