About the Role
The Treasurer will serve as a strategic finance leader reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer. They will be responsible for overseeing and advancing Veeam’s global treasury function. As a company operating in approximately 40 countries, Veeam requires a treasury organization that ensures strong cash management, optimized capital structure, and effective financial risk mitigation across a complex, multi-currency environment.
The Treasurer will design and execute strategies that enhance cash management, investments, and risk management, while driving automation, scalability, and operational excellence in treasury systems and processes. This individual will build and lead a high-performing global team, cultivate strong banking and institutional relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on liquidity, financing, and capital allocation decisions.
This role is ideal for an experienced treasury professional with a builder mindset — someone who combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision to evolve Veeam’s treasury function into a world-class capability that supports the company’s growth, resilience, and financial strength.
What You’ll Do
- Lead global treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, investment strategies, and capital structure optimization.
- Develop and execute global cash forecasting models in partnership with FP&A and Accounting to ensure effective liquidity management.
- Manage corporate debt programs, ensuring ongoing compliance with debt covenants, reporting requirements, and lender communications.
- Manage multinational banking relationships and identify opportunities to enhance structures and streamline operations.
- Oversee foreign exchange risk management, interest rate exposure, and investment performance across multiple currencies.
- Drive implementation and continuous improvement of treasury systems to enable automation, insight, and control
- Ensure compliance with treasury-related GAAP and regulatory requirements; lead internal and external audits for treasury activities.
- Partner with Finance, Tax, and Legal teams to optimize intercompany funding, capital allocations, and global cash mobility.
- Support M&A integration from a treasury perspective, including liquidity planning, risk assessment, and system alignment.
- Build and mentor a high-performing treasury team capable of supporting a growing global organization.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on liquidity, debt position, risk exposure, and capital deployment opportunities.
- Implement and maintain policies and controls governing cash flows, investments, and banking access.
- Identify and mitigate process and internal control weaknesses, driving continuous improvement and scalability.

What You’ll Bring
- 15+ years of progressive experience in various Treasury functions within large global technology, SaaS organizations.
- Proven leadership in setting-up and managing global treasury operations, liquidity, FX, and banking relationships.
- Strong analytical and cash forecast modeling skills with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of Treasury systems and digital transformation in finance operations.
- Experience building scalable processes and driving automation within multinational organizations.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and global regulatory requirements related to treasury and capital management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; capable of influencing cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop remote high-performing team

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$224,400 - $320,600 USD
