The Field Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies and programs that drive business growth for Veeam’s ecosystem of channel and alliance partners. This role bridges the gap between corporate strategy and local execution, ensuring impactful partner enablement, demand generation, and integrated marketing plans that support Veeam’s sales and business objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, results-driven, and capable of both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build, manage, and execute joint go-to-market plans with selected partners and distributors, ensuring effective campaign delivery and measurable outcomes, 
  • Build and strengthen relationships with marketing teams at selected distributors and partners. 
  • Create and manage channel incentive programmes to drive maximum partner engagement, loyalty, and performance. 
  • Track, report, and analyse ROI for individual partner activities, ensuring continued investment and optimisation of spend. 
  • Effective budget management ensuring financial accountability and maximising the impact of channel marketing initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with Partner Account Managers and Field Account Teams to drive alignment with sales goals, contribute to strategic account planning, and support business growth. 
  • Provide partners with timely access to information, enablement resources, and marketing tools to support their success. 
  • Oversee the management and administration of partner funding for channel activities, including approvals, claims, and Proof of Execution. 
  • Deliver insightful reports and actionable field feedback to management, supporting data-driven decision making. 
  • Support local territory teams with ad hoc marketing functions as required. 

Required skills & experience:  

  • Channel/Partner Marketing Experience: Demonstrated experience in channel marketing, partner marketing, or alliance marketing, ideally within the IT, software, or technology sector. 
  • Understanding of Channel Ecosystem: Proven background working with distributors, resellers, VARs, and alliance partners. 
  • Campaign Management: Hands-on experience in designing, executing, and optimizing B2B marketing campaigns, especially joint/co-branded initiatives. 
  • Project Management: Track record of managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously. 
  • Budget Management: Experience managing marketing budgets, including MDF/PMDF and ROI analysis. 
  • Lead Generation: Experience driving demand generation and pipeline growth through marketing programs. 
  • Data-Driven: Ability to analyse data, set KPIs, measure performance, and use analytics to optimise marketing activities. 

Skills: 

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, able to engage and influence partners and internal teams. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to both internal stakeholders and external partners. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and partner teams. 
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives. 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address challenges and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
