We are seeking a Linux Administrator in our Corporate Technology department. Veeams Corporate Technology department is the largest division responsible for Veeams operational processes (security management, procurement, sales acceleration, etc.).

This position is fully remote in Romania.

Your tasks will include:

Managing Linux systems (production and development servers, both virtual and physical)
Designing, implementing, and maintaining a highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure
Developing and maintaining automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and incident response
Monitoring system health, identifying performance bottlenecks, and proactively resolving issues
Implementing observability best practices using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
Handling user requests within your department’s area of competence
Participating in patch management and vulnerability response project

What we expect from you:

3+ years of work experience
Proficient knowledge of OC Linux (experience administering RHEL/Oracle Linux is welcome) and networking
Professional experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible
Professional experience with mail systems
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Zabbix etc.)
English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams

Will be an advantage:

Experience with Terraform
Practical experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc.)
General knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
