Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a Linux Administrator in our Corporate Technology department. Veeams Corporate Technology department is the largest division responsible for Veeams operational processes (security management, procurement, sales acceleration, etc.).
Your tasks will include:
- Managing Linux systems (production and development servers, both virtual and physical)
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining a highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure
- Developing and maintaining automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and incident response
- Monitoring system health, identifying performance bottlenecks, and proactively resolving issues
- Implementing observability best practices using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
- Handling user requests within your department’s area of competence
- Participating in patch management and vulnerability response project
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of work experience
- Proficient knowledge of OC Linux (experience administering RHEL/Oracle Linux is welcome) and networking
- Professional experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible
- Professional experience with mail systems
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Zabbix etc.)
- English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams
Will be an advantage:
- Experience with Terraform
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc.)
- General knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
