We are looking for a dynamic design leader to spearhead a modern design transformation across multiple enterprise software products within Veeam. You will drive the design and user experience strategy, evolve a design system, and foster a customer-centric culture to modernize our product suite and improve usability. We need a strategic leader who can also be hands-on when necessary, executing rapid, iterative UX improvements in a fast-paced environment. 

Your tasks will include: 

  • Lead Design Strategy: Define and drive the overall design vision and UX strategy across all products, aligning design objectives with business goals and customer needs. 
  • User-Centric Transformation: Champion a culture of design thinking, user research, and prototyping to ensure product decisions are guided by user insights. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other teams to incorporate design early in product development and create a shared vision. 
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-impact design and research team. Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that empowers designers to innovate and grow. 
  • Design System Implementation: Drive the evolution of a modern, scalable design system for consistency, efficiency, and a cohesive user experience across the entire product portfolio. 
  • UX Quality & Innovation: Measure and evolve the user experience to ensure product usability and delight, identifying opportunities to streamline complex workflows and enhance visual design. 
  • Bias for Action: Inspire a rapid iteration mindset within the design team, producing prototypes and gathering feedback quickly to drive continuous improvement and impact on the broader company. 
  • Hands-On Execution: Step in as a “player-coach” when needed, contributing directly to key design initiatives while mentoring team members. 

What we expect from you: 

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, including 5+ years in a leadership role (Director level or above).
  • Proven success leading the design of enterprise B2B software or SaaS products.
  • Experience building and implementing a unified design system.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
  • History of building and effectively managing a distributed or remote design team, effectively coordinating across geographies and time zones.
  • Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools, preferably Figma. 

Will be an advantage

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, data protection, or related enterprise IT domains.
  • Experience in turnaround or high-growth environments, with an ability to champion organizational change.
  • Familiarity with data-driven design approaches, using analytics and metrics to guide design decisions.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$329,000 - $423,000 USD
