Why this role is awesome:
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be a core driver of Vay’s growth, with deep ownership of our most critical hiring pipelines in Germany, particularly across Engineering and Tech. You’ll play a strategic IC role, embedded closely with hiring managers, leadership & our Head of Talent, to build out a world-class team during one of the most exciting phases in our company’s journey.
This is a role for someone who brings senior-level talent expertise, sharp stakeholder management, and a proactive mindset for problem-solving and scaling. You'll also collaborate on People Ops initiatives like onboarding and events, bringing your craft not just to hiring, but to creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience.

What you'll be driving:
- Own full-cycle recruitment for key engineering and technical roles in Germany, acting as a strategic hiring partner to team leads and hiring managers.
- Define and implement sourcing strategies that attract top-tier technical talent in a competitive market.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, challenging, guiding, and influencing hiring decisions with data and expertise.
- Help shape scalable recruiting processes and iterate on how we attract, engage, and assess top talent.
- Track recruitment KPIs, pipeline conversion, and performance metrics to influence strategic decisions.
- Stay ahead of hiring trends and proactively propose new tools, channels, and tactics to keep Vay at the forefront of tech recruitment.
- Focused on recruitment automation & how we can integrate AI to our roles to free our time for high impact action.
- Partner with the People Team and Office Management to design and improve onboarding experiences.
- Support additional People Ops topics (e.g. interview training, internal events, hiring calibration).
What are we looking for:
- Extensive experience managing full-cycle recruitment in high-growth tech companies, with a strong focus on engineering/technical roles.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring managers, particularly in product and engineering teams.
- Expertise in sourcing and engaging technical talent using a variety of tools, platforms, and creative outreach methods.
- Hands-on experience with ATS systems (ideally Greenhouse) and using recruitment data to drive decision-making.
- Solid understanding of the German talent landscape and familiarity with local employment practices and compliance.
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail, and the ability to context-switch across multiple hiring pipelines.
- Strong communication, EQ, and influence skills, you can challenge and support in equal measure.
Nice to have:
- Experience building or supporting employer branding initiatives and storytelling around EVP.
- Familiarity with onboarding and People Ops workflows in a fast-scaling environment.
