The role

We are looking for a Senior/Lead iOS Developer to join a project focused on the development of new features for banking applications. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of mobile banking solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and user-friendly functionalities. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless customer experience while following industry best practices and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. 

Role responsibilities

  • Take active part in all stages of the software development lifecycle – analysis, estimation, documentation, developing, testing, bug fixing and support
  • Design and build reusable, modular iOS components/workflows intended for use across multiple products
  • Work closely with both your team and the client to define, design and ship new features
  • Contribute to UX decisions as well as improving the project's processes and methodologies

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:   

  • 5+ years of experience building commercial iOS products
  • Strong command of Swift with solid SwiftUI fundamentals (commercial/production SwiftUI experience is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of UIKit fundamentals (Autolayout, view lifecycle) and Threading & Concurrency
  • Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and common patterns: data persistence, networking, concurrency, delegation, etc.
  • Ability to apply and reason about architectural approaches (MVVM, MVP, VIPER, or similar), including designing for modularity and reuse
  • Proficiency with Xcode and Git-based source control
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Working knowledge of App Store Connect, TestFlight, and Apple Developer Console 

Nice to have qualifications

  • Commercial/production experience with SwiftUI
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Experience with security-sensitive apps (e.g., biometric auth, secure storage/keychain, certificate pinning)
  • Familiarity with Storyboards/Xibs (legacy parts of the codebase)
  • Proficiency with Instruments for performance/memory profiling
  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Unit and Snapshot testing
  • Experience with Swift Package Manager or modularized app architecture
  • Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams 
  • Willingness to guide and mentor junior developers
