The role
As a Marketing Project Manager, Brand and Comms, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 5 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role responsibilities
Brand Marketing & Communications
- Oversee the delivery of brand marketing initiatives including analyst relations, industry awards, PR campaigns, and thought leadership programs.
- Partner with external PR agencies and internal stakeholders to coordinate media outreach and maintain relationships with journalists and analysts.
- Manage awards submission calendars, content creation, and cross-team inputs to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the creation and dissemination of press releases, case studies, and brand storytelling assets.
Project Management
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and the marketing teams
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for brand marketing campaigns.
- Track progress, manage risks, and resolve project roadblocks.
- Coordinate cross-functional input from design, content, digital, and product marketing teams.
- Keep global comms calendar up to date, working closely with Regional and Functional leaders
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates across marketing leadership, PR agencies, and analyst firms.
- Manage expectations and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor and report on the impact of PR, awards, and analyst relations activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve future brand initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in planning and execution.
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in project management within brand marketing, PR, or communications.
- Strong understanding of public relations, analyst relations, and awards processes.
- Experience managing agencies and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with flawless execution.
- Strong writing and editing skills to support PR and awards submissions.
- Relationship builder with media, analysts, and internal teams.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Nice to have qualifications

The benefits
This is a temporary position (18 months) based in Toronto, Ontario. The offered salary range is 70,000 - 115,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location.
Valtech offers a comprehensive benefits package effective after three months of continuous service:
- A comprehensive insurance plan, where you can choose the module that best suits your needs—Gold, Silver, or Bronze. The employer may contribute up to 80% of your coverage depending on the selected module. This plan includes short- and long-term disability coverage.
- Dialogue via Sun Life provides virtual healthcare services, allowing you to consult with a healthcare professional for emergencies, prescription renewals, and more. You also have access to the Employee and Family Assistance Program, as well as a complete mental health support program.
- A $500 Personal Spending Account, which can be used for healthcare reimbursements, gym memberships, public transit passes, office supplies, or contributions to your RRSP through Valtech.
- A retirement plan where Valtech will match 100% of your RRSP contributions through a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), up to a maximum of 4%. You can start contributing to your RRSP immediately, and to the DPSP after 3 months. The vesting of the DPSP will be after a 24 months of service.
- Access to a flexible vacation under Valtech's policy to support your work-life balance, with 5 days available during your probation period and a prorated amount calculated for the remainder of the year.
- Personal Technology Reimbursement – $30/month for every employee-offered on day 1.
- We close during the winter holidays and offer flexible scheduling throughout the year, so you can enjoy those sunny Friday afternoons—provided your weekly hours are completed.
