The Role  

As a Frontend Developer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 4+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead the frontend design and development of web applications using Next.js (App Router/Pages Router) and React.
• Architect and implement content-driven interfaces by integrating Contentful APIs (GraphQL/REST).
• Develop and maintain a reusable component library (using Storybook or similar) to ensure design consistency across multiple touchpoints.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to consume Commerce APIs (e.g., Commercetools, SAP) and unify them with content data.
• Optimize applications for Core Web Vitals, speed, and SEO (Server-Side Rendering vs. Static Site Generation strategies).
• Implement Contentful Live Preview and diverse content models to empower marketing teams.
• Ensure clean coding standards, automated testing (Jest/Cypress), and efficient CI/CD pipelines (Vercel/GitHub Actions).
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive implementation.

Must have:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR).
• Deep understanding of Contentful CMS (Content Modeling, GraphQL API, Management API, and Migrations).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience creating component systems with tools like Storybook and styling solutions (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or SASS).
• Solid understanding of Headless Architecture and consuming GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of State Management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Context).
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Experience with Edge functionality (Middleware) and image optimization techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using Lighthouse and browser dev tools.
