Your Opportunity to Lead:

As Data Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Valtech’s Data & AI practice in MENA, driving strategy, business development, delivery and client success. While your primary focus will be on MENA, you will contribute to the broader APMENA vision, collaborating with teams across the region to deliver cutting-edge data solutions and foster growth.

 Your Role:

1. Strategic Growth and Leadership in MENA

• Define and execute Valtech’s MENA Data & AI strategy, aligned with the overarching APMENA growth plan and global best practices.
• Act as a thought leader and champion for data-driven transformation, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with the regional leadership team to identify opportunities, craft innovative offerings, and scale the data practice in MENA.

1. Business Development and Partnership Management

• Partner with sales teams to identify, nurture, and convert opportunities into successful client engagements.
• Build strong relationships with strategic technology partners like Google Cloud and Snowflake, leveraging co-selling opportunities to expand market reach.
• Lead the creation of compelling proposals in collaboration with global subject-matter experts, ensuring alignment with client needs and goals.

1. Client Engagement and Project Delivery

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in MENA, building trust and ensuring delivery excellence.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of transformative data projects, ensuring they drive measurable business outcomes.
• Provide actionable, data-driven strategies that address complex business challenges and enable digital transformation.

 Who You Are:

Essential Experience and Expertise

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in data strategy, advanced analytics, or AI consulting, with a proven track record of driving growth and delivering successful projects.
• Strong technical pedigree with hands on expertise in cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Azure) and advanced analytics solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage high-value client relationships.
• Expertise gained in a consultancy or digital agency environment providing complex client centric solutions.
