The role
- Valtech is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented People & Culture Analyst to join our LATAM Engage Team based in Mexico. In this role, you will support the employee lifecycle, office experience, and HR operations in Mexico, contributing to regional harmonization and operational excellence across the Americas.
Role responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Support
- Ensure all required documentation for new hires in Mexico is complete and compliant.
- Coordinate pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
- Schedule and manage medical exams and social security affiliations for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce).
- Prepare termination documentation and initiate offboarding tickets.
Office Experience & Engagement
- Support daily office operations, including vendor coordination, supplies management, and workspace organization.
- Ensure the office is welcoming, functional, and aligned with Valtech’s culture and sustainability goals.
- Assist in planning and executing onsite and virtual events.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and hybrid work strategies.
HR Operations & Systems
- Act as Tier 2 support for the HR ticketing system, providing timely and clear responses.
- Process off-cycle HRIS requests (e.g., promotions, terminations, internal movements).
- Collaborate with HR Shared Services to align FAQs and automation efforts.
- Monitor and follow up on sick leave processes in coordination with payroll and local EPS.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies in compliance with Mexican labor laws.
- Contribute to LATAM-wide automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to employees on internal tools and communication channels.
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Experience required: 3+ years of HR experience in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Basic knowledge of Mexican labor laws and HR practices.
- Formal education desired: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related area.
- Languages: advanced English proficiency
Nice to have qualifications
- Empathetic and people-oriented mindset.
- Experience in office coordination or employee engagement.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and communication skills.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and learning.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
- Experience supporting hybrid work environments.
