Finance Manager, United Fintech Group

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to head operational finance and lead the high-performing, detail-focused finance function of United Fintech. Based in our centrally located Copenhagen office and reporting to the CFO, this critical role will ensure the integrity of financial data, drive strategic financial planning, and oversee seamless integration of acquisitions within our rapidly growing group.

As Finance Manager, you will centralise and optimise structured financial processes, establish robust and scalable reporting frameworks, and develop systems that support our long-term growth. Acting as a “local CFO” for acquired partner-companies, you will lead coordinated budget processes, foster strong partnerships with local management teams, and ensure operational alignment with group objectives.

The role requires building trust with stakeholders (c-level, group, and partner-companies), delivering unified reporting, and successfully managing integration of acquisitions. You will refine KPIs, ensure operational discipline, and co-develop a forward-looking IT Finance roadmap to drive innovation and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Build and develop a high-performing finance team, including recruitment, coaching, and succession planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability and development, helping team members reach their full potential.

Reporting & Controlling

• Create accurate, structured internal reports that support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee seamless financial consolidation across the group and maintain strong KPI tracking.
• Collaborate confidently with auditors on audits of annual statutory reporting.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Improve and lead disciplined forecasting processes that align with business realities.
• Drive strategic, forward-thinking budgeting, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and growth plans.

Finance Business Partnering

• Provide actionable, data-driven insights to management and c-level.
• Collaborate to ensure financial planning supports business priorities.

M&A Integration

• Coordinate and standardise processes across acquisitions, ensuring scalability and automation.
• Conduct goodwill calculations and reporting.
• Optimise financial operations for long-term efficiency and clarity.

Strategic Projects

• Collaborate with the CFO to enhance central finance platforms and build a future-focused IT roadmap.
• Lead or contribute to strategic and ad-hoc financial projects as needed, applying your analytical and structured mindset.

Role Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Relevant master’s degree and proven track record in a finance leadership function, ideally within growth-focused or acquisitive organisations.

Expertise:

• Integration and development of structured finance processes, scalable KPI frameworks, and reporting systems.
• Experience with system implementation and migration, showing a strong ability to coordinate complex transitions.

Preferred Skills (a plus, not a must):

• Experience in SaaS.
• Acquisitive growth environments.
• Cross-border collaboration.
