AI Optimization Specialist (AIO)

We’re hiring an AI Optimization Specialist to help shape how AI understands and represents Unframe. This is a new kind of role, built for a new kind of interface. Just like SEO changed how we structure the web for search engines, this role shapes how our knowledge is surfaced by large language models (LLMs).

What you’ll do

You’ll function as our in-house SEO expert for AI. Instead of ranking on Google, you’ll make sure our information is properly indexed and retrieved by AI systems.

Your work will include:

• Structuring and optimizing content for LLMs and AI-native experiences

• Designing and refining prompts, metadata, and knowledge bases

• Managing how information is “ranked” and retrieved inside LLMs

• Running experiments to improve AI outputs and reduce hallucinations

• Collaborating across product, content, and customer-facing teams

• Monitoring AI performance like an SEO pro tracks rankings

Think of it as a mix of prompt engineering, structured content strategy, and AI relevance tuning.

Who this role is for

This is a hybrid role that blends language, logic, and systems thinking.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Understands how LLMs work, and how they retrieve and generate responses

• Has strong writing and content design instincts

• Can think systematically about metadata, structure, and AI relevance

• Loves debugging fuzzy problems with smart experiments

• Can work across disciplines and communicate clearly with different teams

You might come from SEO, UX writing, content strategy, AI ops, prompt engineering, or somewhere in between. You don’t need to code - but curiosity about things like embeddings or retrieval pipelines is a big plus.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with prompt tuning or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

• Familiarity with vector search, embeddings, or LLM architecture

• Prior work in technical writing, content ops, or product documentation

• Any background in evaluating AI quality or relevance
