Team Lead, Platform Engineering

Job Summary
As the Team Lead for Platform Engineering at Unframe, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the foundation of our AI platform. You’ll lead a team of Full Stack Engineers focused on building reusable AI services, scalable APIs, a dynamic UI engine, and shared infrastructure that powers every solution we deliver. This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll guide architecture and execution while mentoring engineers and ensuring technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Drive the design and implementation of core AI building blocks, backend services, and frontend components.
- Own platform-wide features such as user management, multi-tenant abstractions, and solution dashboards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI, and Solutions teams to ensure the platform meets business and technical goals.
- Define and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system architecture.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
- Background in AI/ML, LLMs, or prompt-based applications.
- Proven ability to design scalable APIs, services, and reusable UI components.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend frameworks (e.g. React, Node.js, Python, etc.).
- Experience building platforms or working in complex, multi-solution product environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
Nice to Have
- Experience with design systems, multi-tenant architecture, or enterprise-grade platforms.
- Familiarity with backend performance optimization, observability, and database design.
