Product Manager

Belgrade, Serbia

Trumia is a new-generation E-Money and Payment Services financial services provider, licensed and regulated in the EU. The Institution has set out to provide its clients with customer-centric and innovative financial services. It offers both consumer wallets and corporate accounts, driven by state-of-the-art technology to make its financial services seamless and beneficial to its users.

As the Product Manager for Frontend Applications, your primary mission is to own the product roadmap and write the Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that guide the execution of our frontend platforms. You will serve as the strategic bridge between business goals, design vision, and engineering delivery. Your role is to define what we build across our web and mobile channels, transforming business strategy and complex user workflows (including digital payment flows) into clear, actionable requirements and high-converting, accessible user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Roadmap Ownership:
    • Own, maintain, and execute the multi-platform strategic roadmap for all user-facing digital applications (Website, Web Portal, Mobile Apps, and Internal Admin Dashboards).
    • Prioritize feature initiatives based on business ROI, OKRs, conversion funnel impact, and user engagement metrics.
    • Align cross-functional stakeholders on roadmap priorities, delivery timelines, and feature scope trade-offs.
  • BRD  Requirements Management:
    • Write end-to-end, highly detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specs for new UI features, digital user journeys, and payment workflows.
    • Define functional requirements, interaction logic, edge cases, error-handling behaviors, empty states, and micro-interactions within BRDs.
    • Establish clear, measurable Acceptance Criteria to serve as the baseline for engineering handoff, QA test cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • User Journey:
    • Map end-to-end customer "Golden Paths" and operational workflows across diverse user personas (internal admins, corporate partners, and B2C consumers).
    • Optimize payment user journeys (e.g., card entry, pay-in/payout flows, onboarding, transaction histories, and merchant dashboards) to minimize drop-off and friction.
    • Translate user research, usability testing, and session analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Hotjar) into concrete requirements within your BRDs.
  • Cross-Platform Integration & Stakeholder Alignment:
    • Collaborate with Integration PMs, Backend teams, and Solution Architects to define frontend data schema requirements and API integration points in the BRDs.
    • Walk engineering, QA, and design teams through BRDs during refinement sessions to ensure full clarity and alignment before sprint delivery.
  • Usability & Launch Verification:
    • Define frontend performance targets in BRDs (e.g., Core Web Vitals, page load speeds, latency).
    • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sign-offs to verify that delivered software strictly adheres to the BRD specifications and acceptance criteria before production release.

Requirements:

Product Experience

  • 4+ years as a Product Manager (or Senior PO) leading client-facing digital products, web applications, or mobile platforms.
  • Proven Expertise in Technical/Business Writing: Demonstrated track record of authoring clear, structured, and exhaustive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), PRDs, and functional specifications for complex frontend interfaces.
  • Proven experience managing and communicating multi-platform product roadmaps to executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Product Lifecycle: From roadmap discovery and BRD writing to UAT verification and post-launch optimization.
  • Solid understanding of digital payment flows, security/compliance patterns in UI (e.g., 3DS verification, PCI-DSS user flow guidelines), and payout funnel mechanics.
  • Hands-on familiarity with multi-platform Design Systems, UI usability heuristics, and frontend performance metrics
  • Payments Experience (Recommended / Highly Desired): Direct experience or strong exposure to frontend payment experiences, including card processing, acquiring, pay-ins, payouts, alternative payment methods, or fintech user journeys

Technical & Design Acumen

  • Design & Prototyping: Availability of navigating Figma to review interactive prototypes, inspect UI specs, and link design mocks directly into BRDs.
  • Frontend Technologies: Conceptual understanding of modern frontend web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and mobile platforms (iOS/Android native or cross-platform) to write feasible technical requirements.
  • Analytics & Insights: Proficiency with behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, Google Analytics) to justify roadmap decisions with data.

Product Leadership & Communication

  • Exceptional Documentation & Communication: Ability to translate complex business needs and design concepts into structured, unambiguous written BRDs.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate trade-offs, manage scope creep, and defend roadmap prioritization decisions.
  • Language: Advanced / Fluent English (written and spoken) with exceptional documentation and presentation skills.

Benefits

  • 24 vacation days annually
  • 6 sick days without medical certificate
  • Premium Health Insurance (coverage up to 5,000 EUR annually)
  • Relocation package for international candidates
