You're excited about this opportunity because...
- You will be the leader of inventory at Truepill which includes creating KPIs, best practices, and showing success of the program
- You will oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, including ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and returns. You will ensure that all medications and supplies are stored and organized per regulatory requirements.
- You will manage, mentor, and develop a team of inventory specialists by fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment with clear communication and accountability across multiple locations
- You will develop and implement inventory control systems and processes to reduce excess stock, stockouts, and product expiration issues. You will continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to improve efficiency.
- You will ensure inventory practices adhere to industry regulations, including FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy laws. You will prepare for audits and manage compliance records.
- You will utilize inventory management software and tools to track, monitor, and analyze inventory levels and trends and provide detailed, accurate reports to senior leadership, identifying opportunities for improvement and forecasting inventory needs.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and vendors.
- You will monitor order lead times, resolve supply chain disruptions, and ensure that product deliveries meet demand requirements.
- You will work closely with procurement, pharmacy operations, and supply chain teams to forecast demand, ensuring inventory levels align with sales projections and customer needs.
- You will identify potential risks related to inventory shortages, expiration, damage, or theft, and create strategies to mitigate these risks.
- You will implement a continuous improvement mindset to reduce operational inefficiencies.
We're excited about you because...
- You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- You have 7+ years of experience in inventory management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a mail-order pharmacy, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
- You possess strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data analytics tools.
- You have an in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical inventory control, including cold chain management, product shelf life, and storage requirements.
- You have proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- You possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You will have inventory understanding of DSCSA and how it impacts pharmacies
- You possess a strong knowledge of regulatory standards for pharmacies and pharmaceutical products.
The salary range for this position is $145,000-$155,000.
