The SME lending team at Triple Point provides tailored financing solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across a variety of sectors. Specializing in flexible debt structures, the team enables businesses to scale and grow through expansion, acquisition, or working capital solutions. Committed to long-term partnerships, they actively support SMEs at various stages of their growth cycle.
This role will sit within the Relationship Services team, the SME Portfolio team within Triple Point’s Private Credit. The team covers relationships within SME Debt Finance, Wholesale Finance, and Structured Finance. You will be responsible for monitoring an existing portfolio of borrowers and working closely with Associate Directors to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers seeking additional funding.
The role is varied and offers the chance to join a dynamic team of experienced professionals, operating in a market where non-bank lenders provide the flexible solutions that traditional lenders may struggle to deliver quickly. Triple Point manages over £1bn in lending assets across multiple sectors and is recognized as a leading lender to UK businesses.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the relationship holders for existing SME borrowers.
- Inputting and analysis of management accounts with the aim of identifying and communicating early warning signs. If any MI is overdue, ensure it has been duly reported through the appropriate channels.
- Ensuring internal portfolio monitoring / reporting is kept accurate and up to date.
- Arrange and lead calls and meetings per quarter with each client following receipt of MI or on an ad-hoc basis.
- Oversee and manage portfolio Annual Review process from start to finish.
- Support new money requests and transactions within the portfolio.
- Arrange and participate in calls/ meetings with advisors/management/ borrower on all existing borrowers and / or new transactions for existing borrowers.
- Support presentations to Credit Forum for all matters relating to businesses within the portfolio.
- Support the end-to-end documentation for all modifications to borrower facilities.
- Updating KYC as and when necessary.
Knowledge and Experience
- Ability to read and analyse company financial accounts and management information.
- Experience working in the finance sector and SME’s is desirable but not essential.
