Role overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our Puzzleplay Team. You will be responsible for ensuring the Quality and Reliability of both our backend services and mobile application. Primarily focus will be on validating backend functionality, APIs, data flows, and system integrations, while also verifying the end-to-end impact of backend changes on the mobile experience. This includes testing new features, configurations, and releases that affect user-facing behavior, performance, and stability.

Puzzleplay is Tripledot’s new player rewards platform, designed to make playing our games even more fun and engaging. By playing our casual, free to play mobile games, users can earn points, complete challenges, and win real prizes. It’s our way of giving back to players and rewarding them for doing what they already love. Puzzleplay is a key part of our growth strategy, combining smart engagement mechanics with high-quality game content.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Mobile Quality Assurance
  • Proficiency in using proxying tools such as Charles, Fiddler, or similar
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex workflows
  • Strong practical experience in API (REST) testing
  • Strong attention to detail – capable of identifying issues and thinking through undocumented (ad hoc) use cases that could break the system
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, test types, and best practices
  • High level of accountability, proactivity, and effective time management skills
  • Proficiency with Jira, TestRail, or similar bug/test tracking tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in the gaming industry is a strong plus
  • Experience working with monetization is a bonus
  • Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve QA processes, testing efficiency, and product quality
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of a system and producing testing by specification
  • Perform manual testing of functionalities across different environments within of the life cycle across mobile & Web platforms 
  • Manage bug lifecycle: identification, documentation, prioritization and communication
  • Report the results of the current testing efforts to the project stakeholders
  • Work closely with developers aligning on debug tools and test strategy
  • Act as a voice for quality suggesting improvements to testing practices and workflows.
