About the role:

As Technical Field Services Manager for Scotland, you’ll lead our regional buildings operation, overseeing surveyors, contractors and specialist restoration teams. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective repairs and restoration services while ensuring excellent customer outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive performance, manage complex claims, and continuously improve service delivery across the region. With full ownership of Scotland’s operation, you’ll play a key role in ensuring consistency, quality, and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop a team of surveyors, contractors and restoration specialists
• Deliver a high-performing regional service focused on quality and customer satisfaction
• Ensure accurate scoping of works to control costs and indemnity spend
• Monitor performance, service levels and customer outcomes, driving continuous improvement
• Take ownership of complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Conduct site visits for complex claims, audits and quality assurance
• Provide technical guidance on building repairs and insurance claims
• Manage contractor performance and strengthen supplier relationships
• Oversee specialist restoration services, ensuring high standards and best practice
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards

 

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within insurance, construction or property services
• Strong leadership experience managing multiple teams or functions
• Solid technical knowledge of building construction and repair processes
• Experience working with contractors and/or restoration services
• Ability to manage performance, costs and operational delivery effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence

Basic Salary of £55,000 - £60,000 (DOE) As well as market leading benefits.
