Manager, Payroll and HRIS

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Payroll and HRIS Systems to join our India team. This role requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of expertise in managing payroll operations and HRIS platforms across multiple regions and HR analytics. You will lead a small payroll team, oversee global payroll delivery, and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of HR systems while driving process improvements
Responsibilities (Core Focus – Global Payroll)
- Manage and process end-to-end global payroll across multiple regions, with a focus on the US, UK, and APAC, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, including tax filings, benefits administration, and reporting.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to streamline payroll processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Develop, implement, and document standard payroll procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across regions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll audits, handling reconciliations, compliance checks, and issue resolution.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the payroll team to foster accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence.
Nice to Have (HRIS & Analytics)
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and seamless integration of changes.
- Monitor HRIS system performance and coordinate with vendors/IT teams for enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Lead HR analytics and reporting efforts, including designing dashboards and reports on headcount, attrition, compensation, and workforce trends.
- Provide insights on workforce planning, cost optimization, and employee demographics, supporting leadership with data-driven recommendations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in payroll management, HRIS administration, and HR analytics.
- Strong knowledge of global payroll processes, compliance requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Greenhouse ATS, and Quantum Workforce (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, HR dashboards, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for analytics and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple payrolls across regions in a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
