TRG Screen is looking for a proactive L&D Specialist to support our operations in Bengaluru, India. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the growth and success of our global workforce. We are looking for a self-starter who can design and facilitate engaging instructor-led training programs and develop effective e-learning courses using Articulate and Camtasia. This role will be managing our Learning Management System (LMS), designing engaging eLearning content, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to build scalable programs that develop skills and drive performance.
The L&D Specialist will be the go-to administrator for our SkillJar LMS, ensuring employees have a smooth and reliable learning experience. This role’s responsibilities include managing user accounts, organizing the course catalog, building learning paths, and keeping content up to date and functioning correctly. The role also involves working closely with IT and the vendor to manage platform integrations, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate learner data. Candidates should have a solid understanding of LMS platforms and a proactive mindset to keep our learning infrastructure running as the company grows.
Job Responsibilities
• Design and develop engaging e-learning modules and other creative and learning assets using Articulate 360 and Camtasia.
• Facilitate interactive new hire orientation sessions that cover company culture, policies, systems, and benefits.
• Own day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System and LinkedIn Learning, including user management, permissions, system configuration, catalog organization, and usage reporting
• Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to conduct needs assessment, gather learning requirements, and create learning content.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to course development for Instructor-led courses, participant guides and reference materials.
• Maintain course content and curriculum documentation in SharePoint and the Learning Management System
• Champion the use of AI across the L&D function, sharing best practices and identifying new opportunities to improve the employee learning experience
• Provide recommendations and insights for continuous improvement of learning programs by staying current with L&D trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, or Organizational Development or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development and Instructional Design, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
• Proficiency with e-learning creation software Articulate 360 and Camtasia, multimedia applications, and training engagement tools.
• LMS administration experience including configuring, uploading SCORM/xAPI content, managing user groups, and running reports
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation best practices.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Adaptable multitasker who adjusts to accommodate unexpected changes and quick turnarounds in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with international stakeholders.
• Proactive, creative problem-solver with strong organizational and project management skills.
