🎯 Your role

As a Technical Solutions Engineer at topi, you will operate at the intersection of our Product & Tech teams, Business/Commercial teams, and our external partners—primarily IT and electronics sellers across Europe. You will play a pivotal role in designing, scoping, and implementing technical integrations that power our Hardware-as-a-Service platform, including e-commerce shop systems, ERP solutions, and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. You will also help define architectures for strategic third-party integrations, ensuring topi remains at the forefront of digital financing for hardware assets.

Your responsibilities

• Integration Leadership: Lead the technical discovery, scoping, and implementation of integrations with partner e-commerce shops, ERP systems, and POS solutions, ensuring seamless onboarding and long-term success for our partners.
• Solution Architecture: Design and document robust, scalable technical architectures for both standard and custom integrations, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and commercial stakeholders.
• Technical Advisory: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to both internal teams and external partners, translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner Enablement: Support IT and electronics sellers from across Europe in integrating topi’s APIs and vendor tools into their sales channels, providing hands-on guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with topi’s product, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure partner feedback is incorporated into our roadmap, and that integrations align with our strategic goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of internal tools, integration guides, and documentation to improve partner experience and operational efficiency.
• Strategic Projects: Scope and lead integrations with other third-party platforms of strategic relevance to topi, supporting our expansion and innovation initiatives.

Your Profile

• Experience: 3+ years in a technical solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or similar role within SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce environments.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and integration patterns.
• Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java).
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopware, Shopify, Magento), ERP systems, and POS integrations is highly desirable.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English (German or other European languages a plus), with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to complex challenges.
• Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams, as well as directly with external partners.
• Customer Focus: Strong relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering outstanding partner experiences.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
